OUR VISION
“The Promise Church exists to form passionate disciples who encounter Jesus daily, become like Him, and advance His mission”
OUR MISSION
“We live this out as a generational church family through strengthening marriages, equipping parents and children, reaching the lost, loving our region, and sending out disciples to advance Jesus’ mission.”
Core Values
Hunger
We passionately pursue God’s presence, His Word, and His work; refusing complacency and expecting Him to move in our lives.
Honor
We honor God and people—speaking life, valuing every person, and building a culture where families and generations flourish.
Humility
We follow Jesus with surrendered, teachable hearts, choosing servanthood, and allowing the Spirit to continually shape us.
Stewardship
We steward our time, gifts, resources, and families with faithfulness and generosity, investing in what advances God’s Kingdom.
Acts 2:39 “The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

Acts 2:39 “The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.” -
Passionate Disciples are followers of Christ that are marked by and seek after three things: the tangible presence of God through a culture of worship and prayer, transformation out of the ways of the world and into the ways of Jesus, and joining God on mission for the renewal of all things by seeking the lost and serving our region.
Rather than holding an emphasis on one of these areas, we believe that it is the intersection of these three things that creates a passionate disciple of Jesus Christ.
EXPRESSIONS
-
Daily Encounters
We pursue the Lord daily by spending time with him. He is our goal, prize, and reward. Knowing Him is real, eternal life.
Hunger for God’s Word
We abide in Jesus by saturating our lives in Scripture and are transformed by revelation and sound doctrine.
Passionate Worship & Prayer
We know our first calling is to minister to the Lord in worship and prayer. We resist complacency and cultivate radical hunger by contending for revival and awakening with expectation for God’s accelerated work.
Space & Risk
We create space for the Holy Spirit in our everyday life and take risks with Him, expecting without agenda, listening and obeying.
-
Counter-Culture Practices
We want to see people move from a selfish orientation to counter-culture practices in the way of Jesus by learning how to walk daily in His ways, and not in the ways of the world. Some of these practices include following the principle of the Sabbath, fasting, forgiveness, hospitality, and generosity.
Spirit Filled Life
We are called to live immersed in The Holy Spirit—surrendered to His sanctifying work in our lives, empowered with His gifts to be witnesses of Christ, and living lives of love for others.
Family
We believe God forms us in the home and in the church, so we pursue family discipleship and mission-centered friendships side by side.
Consecration
We crucify our personal preferences and opinions to join Jesus in His work of restoration through consecration. Our world says that life is found in self-fulfillment but Jesus says life is found in self-denial.
-
Love Our Land
We are grateful for the region that the Lord has called us to. We pray, serve, and give to be a blessing to see God bring revival to our land.
Live As A Witness
We are called to be witnesses of the life, death, and resurrection of Christ that go outside the walls of the church. We focus on carrying out the Great Commission to preach the gospel and make disciples of Christ with our whole lives.
Leaving a Legacy
We are a generational church that desires to tell the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord to future generations. We invest our resources into each generation to see a powerful move of God that transcends all ages and that leaves a legacy for those yet to be born.
Launch
We are commissioned to be a sending church that raises up and equips leaders to be launched into their God-designed destiny locally, regionally, and globally.
Our beliefs are firmly rooted in Scripture, and they guide every decision we make and every action we take as a church.
